 Green Mountain Mustard in Richmond is growing, slowly but surely! After a whirlwind holiday season, we've got big plans for 2011. The summer is heating up, your grills are firing, and we are in full store demo mode. With over 60 locations throughout the US carrying our mustard, we're staying busy, thinking of new flavors to introduce to our loyal fans like you. We even have recycled gift boxes using old labels for your house-warming or corporate gift needs!
Green Mountain Mustard was started by Michael Adams, who originally founded Eddie's Energy Bars. He has since closed that business and after graduating in May 2010 from Bryant University, launched Green Mountain Mustard into retail stores. For seven years prior, we were making the mustard in our house and decided that we'd give it a shot at farmer's markets. We continually sold out and the only way to get the mustard at that time was at one farmer's market or if you knew a member of his family - very top secret! We founded the company on good business practice, working with people that we would like to work with. We use local eggs, butter, and maple syrup in our mustard (now manufactured in a small commercial kitchen) to create a rich & creamy style mustard perfect for anything grilled, a turkey sandwich, or even pizza!
