The Jamieson Family has been in the insurance business in Vermont since 1865. The Agency is currently in its second generation of family ownership with the transfer of ownership from Dick Jamieson to Jon Jamieson in 2004. Jon has worked in the industry since 1992, both in the agency business and for insurance companies. Jon has been a Certified Insurance Counselor since 1995 and believes that personal attention and professional advice are just as important to the customer as a competitive price. The Agency has a commitment to community service demonstrated by both time and financial support for numerous organizations. We write over twenty providers and can find a solution for you.

Our company believes that service to the community is as important as service to our clients. My wife and I have a deep commitment to our community. Having grown up here, we value the small town, neighborly environment and are enjoying raising our kids in that environment. Our offices are conveniently located to serve all of central and northern Vermont. The Richmond office consults and educates the greater Burlington and Champlain Valley region. The Waterbury office puts a personal face on the crossroads of Vermont. The Waitsfield office serves the Mad River Valley, Montpelier, Barre and surrounding areas.

We are happy to announce our newest staff member in our Richmond office.  Robert C. Cook comes to Jamieson Insurance with over 20 years of problem solving. Bob is a committed member of the business community, and has personal lines experience as well. He relies on a consultative approach to find the "right" coverage.
