Friday Food Affair  Did you know that every Friday evening from 5-7pm, there is a community dinner, open to all, right here in Richmond? We call it The Friday Food Affair @ 5. Since April 30th, with help from numerous community groups and individuals, we have served 25 to 50 meals each week. The varied menu has included lasagna, chicken and dumplings, soups, stews... Come and support the Farmer's Market during foliage season between 3 - 6:30 pm. Autumn on East Main at Gallery 160  New photographic exhibit at Gallery 160 in Richmond runs October 2 – November 24. Artists’ Reception will be held Thursday, October 21, from 5-8 pm. Exhibit features works by Scott & Kelly Funk, celebrating the sights, lights, and feeling of fall. Click here to read more... Richmond Village Scarecrow Contest  Help Decorate the streets of Richmond by entering the RICHMOND VILLAGE SCARECROW CONTEST. Bring your completed scarecrow to Stargazer Gifts & Toys or The Crimson Poppy Flower Shoppe on or before OCTOBER 15. Prizes will be awarded for the Most Popular, Scariest, Funniest & Most Creative. Scarecrows will be displayed throughout the Richmond Streets, giving you a chance to vote for your favorite. Drawings for the winners will be on November 22nd. Click here to read more... New RABA Meeting Schedule Beginning September 7, the RABA Board of Directors will be meeting on the first and third Tuesdays of each month. The meeting held on the first Tuesday of the month will be at 8:15AM at the Bridge St Café and will focus on meeting with and hearing from current and new members, as well as receiving updates from the various committees about their activities. The meeting held on the third Tuesday of the month will be at 3pm at Bridge St Café and will be primarily dedicated to board-related business.
