MONITOR BARNS FARM NOW ACCEPTING CSA MEMBERS
Monitor Barns Farm is now accepting CSA members for the 2011 growing season! Enjoy farm fresh vegetables for 20 weeks from June – October; a beautiful pick-your-own garden filled with flowers, herbs, peas, beans, cherry tomatoes and peppers; and add-on opportunities such as bread, cheese, eggs and maple syrup. Join our Pasture-Raised Poultry CSA and enjoy fresh chickens throughout the summer. Become a member today – help support local agriculture, educational efforts, and healthy food donations to the charitable food system!

VYCC NOW HIRING FARM AND FOOD COORDINATOR
The VYCC is in search of a qualified, energetic, entrepreneur to fill the position of the Farm and Food Program Coordinator. This full-time, year-round position will be responsible for building a comprehensive business plan with a sustainable funding structure for the program; developing and maintaining relationships with partners, clients, and others in the farming community; contributing to the training, support, and supervision for our field programs; and operating and managing the production of a vegetable and pasture poultry farm.

RABA First Annual Membership Meeting Jan 20
Our first annual membership meeting under the new by-laws will be held on January 20, at 3PM, at the VYCC Barn.

We will review the 2010 accomplishments, 2011 initiatives, and provide an opportunity for members to ask questions about the direction of their business association. Please join us!

Board of Director Elections is underway via email. 2011 registered members who have not voted before then will have a chance to vote in person.
