1. Richmond Rescue Subscriptions Save Ambulance Costs

The dramatic double rescue a few weeks ago at the Huntington Gorge was an important reminder of the critical service Richmond Rescue provides to our local communities. We wanted to remind our readers of the ways in which you can support their work. Richmond Rescue offers ambulance subscriptions to area residents. A Richmond Rescue subscription costs $55 and will cover all costs associated with a Richmond Rescue ambulance transport even if you don't have insurance. 2.  RABA Holiday Market Vendor Information

The Richmond Area Business Association (RABA) will be hosting the ninth annual Richmond Holiday Market on Saturday, December 3, 2011 from 9:00 am 3:30 pm. This annual event has grown over the years and again will be held in the Town Center in three buildings, including the Richmond Free Library; the Richmond Congregational Church, and the Richmond Town Hall. Last year we had booth space for 44 vendors to display and sell crafts and gifts.  On the web site is a link to download the vendor application, along with a flier to promote the event.  Please return your form as soon as you can or write to  This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. 3. Our Community Cares Camp Serves Record Number of Meals in July

Our Community Cares Camp, Inc. (OCCC) concluded another successful summer food service program on July 29th, serving 1091 breakfasts and 2337 lunches for a total of 3428 meals to over 200 children from Richmond, Bolton and Huntington.  This year was OCCC¹s third year of providing summer meals to local children who attend academic and camp programs in the Chittenden East Supervisory Union, as well as the Huntington Library Friday morning program and the Camels Hump summer bookmobile.   Read More......
