Small Business Owner Named 2010 Rising Star by Vermont Business Magazine

Michael Adams, owner of Eddie's Energy and Green Mountain Mustard, and a graduate of Bryant University, is excited to announce that he has been selected as a 2010 Rising Star by Vermont Business Magazine. This honor is given each year to 40 individuals under the age of 40 who are making a difference in their communities. Adams, 22, says, "It was always a goal of mine to get on the 40 under 40 list, but I had no idea that I would land on it at the age of 22 with such distinguished people who I know and respect." Adams has an idea about who nominated him, but is very flattered to know that someone has recognized his work with youth around the state promoting entrepreneurship in high schools and his personal and professional growth for his two companies.

Adams plans to continue growing his companies, encouraging students to take a risk and start their own business, and looking for the next great business idea. His products are available locally at the Richmond Market and Beaudry's Store in Huntington.
