Richmond Farmers' Market 2011 Season

June 17th - The Richmond Farmers' Market will host Vermontica the calf and Dairy Day.

vermonticaVermontica will love all of the attention she will get. So stop by the stage area to meet this adorable calf. Thank you Anne Burke for bringing Vermontica to the Market!

Plus, story tellers, Gigi, Joni and Michelle bring the wisdom of stories to life; delighting audiences of all ages on stage from 5:00 to 6:00.  They use humor, music, dance and circus arts as well as their skills as  teachers to bring children and adults into the act. This trio brings the talents of three gifted individuals: Gigi Weisman, children's musician, well know for her fiddling and in the professional world as an autism consultant, Joni AvRutick, singer songwriter, and beloved teacher at the School House in South Burlington and Michelle Lefkowitz of "Playing on Purpose," Certified Yoga Teacher, Aikido practitioner, Dancer and Performance Artist.

Also, if you are in need of a new summer look, Lienne Bick, a talented face painter, will be on hand at 5:00 to add a little whimsy to your day.

Don't forget Father's Day is almost here. Pick up a gift and everything you will need for your celebration on Sunday!June

24th - Back by popular demand, don't miss The Highland Weavers on stage at the Richmond Farmers' Market from 5:00 to 6:00. They will perform songs from Scotland and Ireland in close harmony. Band members are Tim Whiteford on vocals and guitar and Marie Whiteford on vocals and keyboard. The Highland Weavers have been playing around Vermont, and further afield, for more many years. They also performed at the annual Celtic New Year in Richmond.

The Market is open from 3:00 to 6:30 on Volunteers Green in Richmond.  Come and meet your Local Growers and Buy Local.
