The dramatic double rescue a few weeks ago at the Huntington Gorge was an
important reminder of the critical service Richmond Rescue provides to our
local communities. We wanted to remind our readers of the ways in which
you can support their work. Richmond Rescue offers ambulance subscriptions
to area residents. A Richmond Rescue subscription costs $55 and will cover
all costs associated with a Richmond Rescue ambulance transport even if
you don't have insurance. The subscription year runs from July 1 to June
30.

Do you have an elderly or disabled neighbor who you would like to help
out? You may also give a subscription as a gift. Subscriptions for your
family or for a neighbor can be purchased online at
http://www.richmondrescue.org/richmondrescue/donations.html. If you wish
to purchase one for a neighbor just put his or her name and address in the
"add special instructions" box. If you prefer to purchase a subscription
through the mail, please send a check for $55.00 to Richmond Rescue with a
note in the memo section that says "Subscription." Checks can be mailed to
Richmond Rescue, P.O. Box 404, Richmond, VT 05477.
