The Future of Vermont's Working Landscapes |
 A Discussion with Paul Costello and Roger Allbee on Monday, April 11 7:30 pm, Billings North Lounge, University of Vermont.
The history and current trendlines around Vermont's Working Landscape document that the enterprises that have been the stewards of Vermont's working lands are endangered and, seen from a generational perspective, that landscape is deeply threatened.
Paul Costello, Executive Director of the Vermont Council on Rural Development, and Roger Allbee, former Vermont Secretary of Agriculture will review the history and status of the Working Landscape in Vermont, introduce the newly-established Vermont Working Landscape Partnership, and overview a five point Action Plan to ensure the vitality of working lands in Vermont for a new generation.
