The Richmond Congregational Church is sponsoring an international night:

AN EVENING IN BANGLADESH

Please join us for a FREE Bangladesh evening with a pot luck supper on August 28 from 6 - 8 pm.

Please bring a dish to share for 8-10 people. You may want to prepare a traditional dish from Bangladesh. Please call the church office for recipes. Pastor Debbie will show two videos she made, give a talk, and provide a display of items from Bangladesh where she spent seven years

Debbie has given me the recipes. They are currently on hard copy but I will also be receiving a soft copy, in case you would like a recipe via email. It promises to be a great evening and we do hope as many of you can come. It would also serve as an appropriate time to thank Debbie Ingram for serving as our summer pastor.

The recipes are for: Beef Curry, Beef Vindaloo (type of a curry), coconut shrimp curry, Dal (lentils), chicken korma, peas pulau (fried rice with peas), potato fritters, fried okra, firni (rice pudding) and tuna kabab.

Cooking any one of these recipes is completely optional. Please put this date down on your calendar.
