See the new film, "NOBELITY", at Richmond Free Library on April 22. This will be the only Vermont showing in April.
NOBELITY is a look at the worlds most pressing problems through the eyes of Nobel laureates from disparate fields, including peace, social justice and scientific disciplines. NOBELITY follows filmmakier Turk Pipkin's personal journey to find answers about the kind of world his children and grandchildren will know.
Filmed across the US, France, England, India and Africa, NOBELITY combines the insights of nine distinguished Nobel prize winners with a first-person view of world problems and the children who are most affected by them.
The nine Nobel laureates include:
Desmond Tutu (1984 Peace Prize)
Sir Joseph Rotblat (1995, Peace Prize)
Wangari Maathai (2004 Peace Prize)
Jody Williams (1997 Peace Prize)
Plus five more Nobelists
