Our Community Cares Camp (OCCC) is a summer food and fun program. Located in Richmond, it serves children from Bolton, Huntington and Richmond during the month of July. Children can attend day camp and take part in enriching activities such as arts, crafts and sports, while enjoying two nutritious meals a day prepared by our local nutrition magician, Karyl Kent.

Since 2009 OCCC has been feeding over 120 children a day, and providing day camp to over 50 children. We also provide meals to children visaiting the CHMS bookmobile in Bolton and Huntington, as well as lunches on Fridays in July at the Huntington Library.
OCCC has received great support from the local community - churches and civic groups, as well as individuals and some businesses.

Right now we are applying for grants from a variety of foundations. The more support we have from the local community (the more sources of donations we have) , the more competitive we will be to get grants from some of these foundations and individuals.
OCCC is asking for your help.

We know that you get many requests for financial support during the year from local groups. That is why we are not asking for large donations. We would like to add your name to our list of donors that we will submit for publication in the Town reports of Bolton, Huntington and Richmond, as well as publish in the Times Ink in February. Would you please donate $25 or more to help support this valuable community service for our children? We will thank you with a certificate you can proudly display in your business, and will acknowledge your generosity in our publications and mailings.

Please mail your donation to OCCC P.O. Box 503, Richmond, Vermont 05477. OR you can drop it off at the Town Clerk's office in Richmond. Donations received before December 25 will be included in the report submitted for publication in the Town's annual report.
