The NEW Richmond Market Opening Friday June 18!We are all watching the construction of the new downtown market with anticipation of the opening Friday June 18th. What new features might we expect? Owner Mike Comeau says that for one, he will provide a much larger bulk section. The section will be 24 ft long and have over 160 items. Why bulk? “With bulk products, people can buy just what they need,” says Mike. “Things like flour are getting very expensive and a single person or a senior maybe doesn’t need to by 10 lbs at a time.” Mike reports that he can get much better quality products in bulk and offer them at reasonable prices to his customers. Also, he notes that his customers are very environment-conscious and appreciate being able to buy items with less packaging or with re-usable containers.
